The Old-style Siamese Club
HISTORIC SIAMESE
The following page may download slowly as it contains thumbnail links to an archive of old photographs of Siamese cats from the late 1940s, 50s and 60s. Many of the cats on this page appear at the back of a huge number of Modern Siamese pedigrees.

Where the photographer was credited, that credit remains attached to the picture. Unfortunately it has not been possible to contact the publishers of the books these pictures came from, or the authors (now deceased) or their families to obtain official permission to reproduce these pictures. However, it is hoped that the historical significance of many (if not all) of these cats and their breeders, and the near impossibility of obtaining copies of the books will be sufficient to allow some leeway in copyright.

The books these were taken from are:

Greta Hindley: Siamese Cats Past and Present (publ. Greta Hindley, 1967)
Kathleen R Williams: The Breeding and Management of the Siamese Cat (publ. K Williams1950, R1957)
