Cat Books for Sale

Where did the books come from?

I have decided to sell my collection of cat books. It was fun chasing them down, and many took years to find, and they came from all over the world, many from the USA. Having got them though, I found that I wasn't doing anything with them, so now they are taking up shelf-space and gathering dust. Most of these are rare, some rarer than others. All are described in detail with careful attention to their condition, but remember, these are all OLD or second-hand books!

I'm mainly hoping to recover what I spent on these books, though I have checked current pricing to make sure I'm up-to-date with their values.

To make them easier to look through I have divided them up into three categories:
  • General cat books (and single breeds other than Siamese)
  • Books about Siamese
  • Rare and antiquarian (i.e. expensive!)
  • My books - facsimiles of some rare books, and my book about the Tonkinese (mostly photos).
You can flip through some of the cover pictures at the top of each subject page, and see if anything catches your eye, and look through the list, clicking on the 'more details' link for a full description.

How it works:

You don't need a PayPal account to pay for things you buy, but you will need a credit card, and the payment will be securely handled by PayPal.

When you click on 'Add to Cart' for any book, a new window will open with a PayPal cart with the book in it. The window will be called 'OSSC PUBLICATIONS'. This is my publishing account. You can return to the 'shop' page by clicking on 'Continue shopping' (which will temporarily close the PayPal window), or by clicking back on the original window. You can add books from any of the pages, and they will all go to a single shopping cart. When you have finished shopping, just click through the PayPal instructions to pay and submit your order.

When I receive the notification from PayPal (usually it is sent within seconds of completing the transaction, and I check my mails several times on weekdays) I will pack up your books and post them as soon as I can get to the post office. They should be with you in a couple of working days from posting. I will let you know when I post them.

Postage within the UK is free, but please contact me if you are shopping from abroad, as I will have to charge postage for overseas orders, based on the weight of the package.

No problem: if you don't like the book send it back and I will refund. However I will have had to cover the cost of posting it out to you, so the refund will have to be minus the postage cost, but that's all.
