What books?
Mostly I produce things
that I'm interested in, which means that often they're
things which other people aren't interested in!
However, I'm not in it for the money, but to create
publications about, and of, things that might otherwise
be lost, or for whom there is a small and dedicated
readership, but not enough people to justify a large
publishing house taking an interest. I run a small
not-for-profit publishing business, and have so far
published books about the Siamese, Snowshoe, and
Burmese breeds which were written about people with
particular expertise or interest, and whose information
needed to reach a wider public in a good quality
format.
My main cat book is Inside
Tonkinese, which you can read about here, and
see many of the pictures in my Tonkinese photo album.
Apart from that I'm very interested in historical texts
and have published a number of things relating to the
early Siamese.
Inside Tonkinese
Inside
Tonkinese
This is a full-colour
collection of photographs taken by me, mostly of my
own Tonkinese, but with some belonging to other
people who were visiting.
I've avoided the 'usual' cat book text about
history or how to breed or look after a cat: you
can get that anywhere. This is an attempt to
capture some of the character of the Tonkinese
breed in pictures and a very few, hopefully
well-chosen, words.

Cat Gossip Vol. 1, Dec 8th 1926 to April 20th 1927
A4, 132 pages, soft covers
Facsimile of one of the rarest of all cat archive items, a magazine published for members of the newly established Cat Fancy. Filled with fascinating insights into early breeding and husbandry, as well as show reports and announcements of kittens and cats at stud. Particularly important to Persian and Siamese Historians, but fun for anyone to read.

Frances Simpson: The Book of the Cat (1903)
A4, 2 Vols, 380 pages, photographs on nearly every page. High-quality glossy b/w facsimile
This was the first book to go into cat owning and breeding in detail, and is a fund of information about the early bloodlines and late-Victorian life.
I got so frustrated by the price of this rare collectors' book on the open market (£250 to £450) that when I finally got hold of one I photographed it painstakingly and have reproduced it as a high-quality glossy b/w facsimile. Because of its thickness it is bound up into 2 volumes in soft covers.
