Illustrated with 38 colour and black and white photographs. The print-run for the book was relatively small, so this is quite a difficult book to find.

Since their introduction from the United States to Britain in the 1940s the popularity of the Burmese has grown enormously. They now rank as the second largest group of pedigree cats. It is surprising therefore that enthusiasts for this wonderful breed had to wait until this book for a truly authoritative and comprehensive study. Compared to the number of books written about the Siamese and the popularity of this breed, the Burmese are extremely under-represented in terms of published studies and information.
