Truffle's full name is Jacleah Truffle Oframeses.
She was bred by Jacqueline Leah, a breeder of
Siamese who has been a friend for years, and is
from her first litter of Tonkinese. Jacqueline was
very keen to breed a new bloodline for the
Tonkinese, and travelled a very long way to find a
Burmese stud for her own-bred Siamese queen who was
unrelated to studs who had so far been used in the
UK Tonkinese breeding program.
Truffle is an F1 Tonkinese, and is destined to mate with Jean Adams' stud boy (from my breeding), Rameses Chaos. I hope she will bring another tabby girl from my bloodline back to my household. She will not be old enough to have babies until 2009, so for now is enjoying rampaging around the place with her brother Pewter and little Baby Reckless. She has lovely type, and promises to be a really stunning Tonkinese. She will be out on exhibition at Tonkinese shows, and her kittens may be available to breeders interesting in extending the Tonkinese gene pool.
