Ferdinand is a beautiful Old-style Siamese Seal
Point boy that I bred from my chocolate point queen
Libby. I kept him on until he was old enough to
mate with my Lilac Burmese in order to breed a new
line of first-generation Tonkinese who were not
related to existing lines, and whose background
(genetically) I had a good knowledge of - this is
particularly important in attempting to improve or
enlarge a limited gene pool.
Ferdinand (Frinky) now lives a couple of streets away with some very good friends, and one of his sisters from an earlier litter. I see him often, and he's definitely the Lord of the Manor. Over the wall from his garden is a huge Convent garden, and Frinky is a frequent visitor. At their recent jubilee celebrations, Frinky stationed himself at the entrance to the marquee, and greeted each of the several hundred guests personally.
