Pewter's real name is Jacleah Rameses. He was bred
by Jacqueline Leah, a breeder of Siamese and is
from her first litter of Tonkinese. Jacqueline was
very keen to breed a new bloodline for the
Tonkinese, and took great care to find a Burmese
stud for her own-bred Siamese queen who was
unrelated to studs who had so far been used in the
UK Tonkinese breeding program.
Pewter is a superb F1 lilac Tonkinese, he is very large for his age (he's only 5 months old in these pictures) and is destined to mate with my F2 chocolate female, Treacle, before being neutered. He will not remain at stud, but his kittens will be available to breeders looking for new bloodlines, subject to them passing my vetting procedures!
